The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation ( DDPM ) has sent letters to provincial governors and directors in all provinces instructing them to prepare for forest run-off, flash floods, waterlogging and strong winds and waves between Tuesday (May 19, 2026) and Thursday (May 21, 2026).
