Summary
As floodwaters begin to recede across several areas of Bangkok, Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF) continues its “GULF Care” initiative, extending support to affected communities as they begin the recovery process and restore their homes following the floods.
Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok , said, “Although the flood situation in many parts of Bangkok is beginning to ease, overall water levels remain close to capacity and the situation remains fragile, particularly in the eastern part of the city, where accumulated water is still present and more continues to flow in. Bangkok can normally absorb around 60–70 millimeters of rainfall.
“In many areas where floodwaters have receded, our key mission is to speed up recovery. We are mobilizing manpower and machinery from unaffected districts to support the hardest-hit areas so that we can restore the city quickly. This includes collecting garbage, cleaning, repairing roads, and providing health care for residents in every affected area, so that everyone can return to normal life as soon as possible.
